What began as a deeply personal loss has become a powerful way to honour Dee Holt’s memory while raising awareness and funds for epilepsy research in Canada.
After losing Dee to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), Wyeth, alongside friends and family, committed to running a series of races throughout the year in her memory. Through every mile, the team hopes to not only raise funds for Epilepsy Canada, but also help spark greater understanding about epilepsy and SUDEP.
Epilepsy affects nearly 1 in 100 Canadians, yet awareness and research funding remain limited. Funds raised through this initiative will help advance epilepsy research and bring greater attention to epilepsy and SUDEP, helping move progress forward for individuals and families affected by epilepsy.
