Our Family Farm Fun Day will feature an assortment of exciting, entertaining and inclusive activities! Including Horse-pulled wagon rides, pony rides, petting zoo, bouncy castles, dunk tank and more!
Families and children of all ages will love the sights and sounds of farm life. This signature event is an inclusive fun day for the entire family where EVERYONE has the opportunity to participate.
Alek’s story is one of incredible resilience, bravery and optimism. Diagnosed in 2005, Alek still continues to suffer 2-3 grand mal seizures a month. Together with his wife, Brittany they founded the Grey-Bruce Golf Classic in 2020 to raise epilepsy awareness and funding for research to find a cure. Since it’s inaugural tournament Grey/Bruce Epilepsy Classic raised almost $40,000!
“What initially started 2 years ago as an effort to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy research, has since translated to overwhelming support from the epilepsy community, and our local region as well. Our epilepsy family is growing. We are raising more awareness for this invisible illness. Britt and I are forever grateful for this.
Just as our epilepsy family is growing, our household is growing as well. We welcomed two twin girls in November. Our goal is to also keep our now three children as involved with this endeavor as possible.
Because of this, we have decided to transition from our Golf Tournament and our previous two successful, and absolutely wonderful years at Legacy Ridge Golf Course to a new event. We wanted to make this year fun for all ages. We are hoping to keep this fundraising momentum going with our new event: Buckin’ Epilepsy a Family Fun Farm Day.”
